Getting Started
Firstly, please choose a site to redirect from this screen. After that, insert the address or the new domain that you want to redirect your WordPress.com traffic. The URL of the destination should be inserted in the blank field, then click Go button.

Note: The permalinks of your new sites have to match those at WordPress.com. The below link permalink structure is the one that WordPress.com uses:

The redirect might try to search for a post on your new sites which matches the URL of the post of your WordPress.com site in case your new redirected site’ permalink structure is not correct. But some of the visitors may find it impossible to find a matching post. An error message will appear. However, please ensure that you have specified the full URL (mysite.com/blog) if you added your blog to a subdirectory like/ blog.
Disabling Redirect
Sometimes, you want to take a break from using your site. In case that happens, what you want to do is that you do not want to delete entirely the redirect and just want to disable it for a while, right? You can set your site’s primary address as your default WordPress.com address. How to do it? Select Domains, choose the desired default WordPress.com address and select Make Primary.
In the process of performing this action, you might make mistakes, or maybe you redirected already but still want to redirect your domain name again. Do not worry if you afraid you cannot make any changes if you have already finished. You also can able the redirect again any time by returning to the below screen, choosing your Site Redirect URL as the primary domain, select Make Primary.
Deleting Redirect
To complete this action, you jst need to remove the upgrade from your Purchases
