How to Publish Themes from the theme editor

Step 1: Open Theme section

Log-in to your Shopify account then choose Online store under the Sales channels. A list of smaller settings will appear, click on Themes at the beginning of the list.

Step 2: Customize theme

The Themes settings consists of two section, Current theme, and More themes. If you want to edit the current theme, click on the blue Customize button. In case you want to change the theme for your shop and adjust it at the same time, select the one that you want and press on the Customize beside Action. It will move on to another page with detailed settings for the theme that you can make your adjustment here.

Step 3: Publish theme

In the head of the page, you can see the white Publish button then click on it

Step 4: Confirm publishing

A new box will appear to ensure your changes, press on Save and publish to end the process.

  • Step 1: Open the app with login account and tap Store

  • Step 2: In Sales channels, select the Online store

  • Step 3: Choose Manage themes

  • Step 4: Pick a theme that you want to use for your shop in More themes. After that, click on Customize below its name. The settings for the theme will appear that you can edit it in your style. If you are done, press Save and move back to the More themes display.

  • Step 5: Tap on the Action under the theme and choose Publish

  • Step 6: To confirm your action, select Publish on the newly appeared window

  • Step 1: On the admin display of the app, choose Store

  • Step 2: Look for the Online store in the Sales channels section

  • Step 4: Select a theme in the Shopify theme store under More themes and click on Customize. You will see a page of options for editing theme. Complete your change by pressing Save and go back to the More themes settings.

  • Step 5: The system will notify you which theme that you have edited. Choose Publish in the Action under the theme's title.

  • Step 6: In the new dialog box, select Publish to verify your change.
